La Pizza

La Pizza Romana

La Pizza Romana also known as pizza al taglio (by slice) originates from the Italian capital Rome. Unlike the Pizza Napoletana that is cooked directly in a hot stone wood fire oven, La Pizza Romana is cooked in a blue steel tray, creating a uniform, dense pizza, fluffy centra and crispy base. Sold by the slice rather than whole it allows customers to savour several different variations at the same time.

Although toppings can be similar, La Pizza Romana has many other variations, i.e sliced potatoes with onions, La Pizza Bianca (white pizza) with Mortadella and Mozzarella, being just two of the many that are synonymous with the region.

TAILORED FLAVOURS prides itself on serving the most genuine and timeless iterations of La Pizza Romana by fermenting its dough for 48 hours and using only the finest Italian ingredients.
